The Mixed Club Event is a showcase opportunity built into the IMPACT seasonal calendar for players to be placed on teams that represent all clubs in the IMPACT league.
The goal for this type of event is to prepare players for College ID clinics and Camps where they are placed on a team and expected to compete. Through Zoom sessions, our Impact players will be given prompts that will identify areas in which players can deconstruct anxiety around these types of events while they strategize their coming together to compete.
Our younger players will be setting up in this format and will not be showcasing in front of coaches, but will be preparing the same way our older players will be so they gain even more experience when they are competing in front of schools and coaches the players have identified as schools they have interest in.
We are excited to continue to build this event as an IMPACT league.
